Cancer Treatment with the Early Symptoms

Yearly statistics reveal that the newly diagnosed cancer patients are increasing with the time. This also refers that the advancement in diagnosis and treatments are saving the lives with the same statistics. However the statistics could increase if the cancer is early diagnosed in the patient and this can only be done by giving enough education about the symptoms of the cancer so the patients can consult a doctor in their early stage of disease.

On this basis, the article is outlined giving a view of the symptoms of the most common type of cancers which are experienced by the patients. These symptoms are not surely to be experienced by all the patients as they vary by the people.

Some cancers can be grouped on the basis of gender. For example, some cancers are mostly found in males and one of them is the prostate cancer. Similarly in females breast cancer is the most diagnosed and some are which are diagnosed in both male and female are lung cancer and colon or rectal cancer.

Listing below is some of the symptoms of the cancers which can be helpful for the patient to diagnose it early.

Prostate cancer symptoms include the annoyance in the person but it occurs after a long time and only then it is diagnosed. This annoyance can be felt when one is unable to urinate though has the urge to, unusual prolongation of urination, frequent urination during night hours, needing to pass more urine when not left. Incontinency caused by bladder failing. Unfortunately until these symptoms get severe, this cancer is not diagnosed and thus the treatment is delayed.

Breast cancer symptoms are not apparent in the early stages. The symptoms occur mostly only on one breast and may include a lump in the breast and may be deep or very small that is mostly ignored. The lump is painless. Dimple at the lump, swelling of the skin with an orange peel, inversion of the nipple and a discharge of blood from the nipple. This cancer if not treated earlier can extend to the other components of the body damaging lungs, liver and sometimes bones. The statistics show that the number of diagnosed breast cancer patients is the same but the number of deaths is decreased. This is because of the advancement in the research and the treatments and the awareness created in people.

Lung cancer symptoms include a new persistent cough, change in long standing cough, sometimes with blood spit, chest pain that can be worse in inhaling, shortness of breath, wheezing due to blockage. Abnormal curvature of finger nails is experienced in the clubbing secondary lung cancer which occurs in s different part of the body and travels towards the lungs damaging every part of the body but the symptoms are mild and not diagnosed earlier.

Colon cancer patients have the symptoms like presence of blood in stool, anemia, and long lasting change in bowels, needing for another bowel movement even though just passed, other digestive problems like nausea, vomiting, bloatedness, stomach cramps or ache and trapped gas. But this cancer can take several years to detect because it has less severe symptoms.

These symptoms are considered to be early symptoms but in reality they had already given a lot of damage to the body but not late enough to be cured. Sometimes the tumor doesn’t exhibit any symptom and spreads silently through the body.
