Nervousness and tension have harmful effects on our physical health. Many people are so stresses due to their social and personal life that they are not familiar about the negative side effects of the tension and anxiety on their health.

Some case studies show that people will be less aware about that they are under stress and it creates negative side effects on their health if they are continuously under stress. Due to this reality if the people don’t realize it emotionally then we have to realize them about the symptoms on their physical health. So this leads to the importance of learning the physical symptoms of stress on their health. If you are well aware about the symptoms of stress and anxiety then it can help you to identify potential prompt in your life and in turn help you to better manage them and lighten the stress and anxiety in your life. There is one important point that the physical effects of tension and nervousness can vary from one person to another. There are some side effects which are very serious and dangerous to our life. One symptom produce on its own does not sure the presence of stress and nervousness, there should be multiple indicators for the presence of stress and nervousness. Some symptoms are very short and other is long term symptoms but we have to identify them in time.
Short-term symptoms include the following: the hands and feet become cold, dry mouth, rapid or fast breathing, increase in heart beat, increase in sweating, nausea and diarrhea. These short term side effects appear when the body is responding to a professed threat. This is way that body gives signals to you to get ready for fight and flight means time for fight or run away. While this rush of adrenaline and emotions can be helpful in a truly threatening situation, it can have negative impacts during times when there is no immediate danger. These physical symptoms can damage your self-confidence, disrupt the quality of your life and reduce the pleasure you get from your work. When a body is continuously going through these symptoms then health of person is going to decline.

The long term effects of tension and nervousness are following: Sexual disorders, Changes in appetite, Insomnia, Frequent illness, Back pain, Asthma, Headaches, Digestive problems, Lethargy, Restlessness, Depression and irritability. This is important to note that one symptom by itself may not necessarily indicate the presence of either short term or long term stress and anxiety. There are other reasons that can result in a single symptom, such as certain medications. If there are multiple indications then we predict that there is a problem. If you have found multiple symptoms of tension and anxiety then you should use anxiety management techniques that will help you to come out through the situation of stress and anxiety.
